Water Safety Mandate: Life jackets are mandatory for all participants during the raft experience on Piuray Lagoon, regardless of swimming ability, and must remain securely fastened at all times while on the water.

🌿 At 9:00 a.m., we'll pick you up from your hotel and depart on a private tour to the enchanting Piuray Lagoon, leaving behind the hectic pace of Cusco.
✨ On the shores of the lagoon, you'll be welcomed by our Andean shaman guide for a profound Pachamama Ritual, followed by a spiritual cleansing ceremony that harmonizes and purifies energies. 🌸
🌎 During this sacred moment, we'll express gratitude and reverence to Mother Earth with symbolic offerings—food, herbs, coca leaves, and flowers—placed respectfully on the earth, in a gesture of reconnection and reciprocity with nature. 💚

After the ceremony, we'll embark on a peaceful raft ride across the serene waters of the Sacred Piuray Lagoon, a true haven of peace and beauty.

🕊️ The lake is also home to a rich variety of native birds, making this moment even more special for wildlife lovers.

- Dress in Warm, Windproof Layers: Temperatures around the lagoon can drop quickly, and winds across the water can feel cold. Wear thermal layers, a fleece sweater, and a windproof/waterproof jacket.
- Use Heavy Sun Protection: Solar radiation at 3,800 meters is intense. Apply high-SPF sunscreen, wear UV-blocking sunglasses, and bring a sun hat or beanie.
- Prepare Personal Intentions: Take a moment before the ceremony to reflect on personal goals, expressions of gratitude, or positive wishes to bring into the ritual offering.
- Wear Outdoor Shoes: Choose comfortable sneakers or light hiking shoes with good traction that can handle damp or grassy terrain along the lagoon shore. Bring Small Soles Cash: Carry cash in small denominations (Peruvian Soles) if you wish to purchase traditional textiles from local weavers in nearby Chinchero or offer a personal tip (propina) to the shaman.
